The Pleasure Beach in Blackpool is a famous amusement park.

This park was opened by Alderman William George Bean in 1896. The founder of the park designed it for adults as well as children.

Currently the Pleasure Beach Park consists of an enormous number of rides, which are traditional as well as modern.

The traditional rides are wooden, while the modern roller coaster rides are made of steel.

This park underwent lots of changes and modifications over time.

Recently, a casino and some more new rides have been added in the park. These new changes have made the Pleasure Beach the world's 5th superior amusement park.

There are no charges for entry. However, individual fees have to be paid for each ride.

The roller coaster rides have interesting names like, Avalanche, Big Dipper, Infusion, Pepsi Max Big One and Wild Mouse.

Apart from these, the park includes various thrill rides, water rides and general rides for children.

Visitors can enjoy a memorable time at this park.
