Tourist Guide Braintree
In the eastern region of England, Braintree is a town but prominent settlement in the Braintree district of Essex. It is separated from Chelmsford by ten miles and from Colchester by fifteen miles. It is at a distance of approximately 40 miles from London.
The population of this town is about 42,000.
“The Irons” is the name of the football club in this town.
On the outskirts of the town, there is a cinema hall close to which there are several restaurants and a bowling alley. In the town center there are two nightclubs and there are several bars and public houses.
There are 3 local newspapers in this town called as Evening Gazette, Essex Chronicle and Braintree and Witham Times.
Every June, the Braintree and Bocking Carnival is organized. In April and October there are shows of the Braintree Musical Society.
