Britain’s longest river The Severn, divides and borders Bridgnorth, it has also been named after a bridge on this river.  The river has divided the town into the high town and low town.

The town has a population of 12,216. It is placed along the Severn Valley, in Shropshire.

The fine houses and cottages and the lovely streets, tell the visitors the history of Bridgnorth. The town has had many bad phases, but which have helped in the development of the town.

Bridgnorth has everything for the tourists to explore, castles, caves, a cliff railway and not to forget the memories of the civil war

Bridgnorth is counted in one of the most extravagant interior town location in England.  When King Charles had visited the town he had specified it as “the finest in his domain”.
