Tourist Guide Bridport
Bridport lies near the coast of the Chesil beach at the convergence of the Asker and Brit Rivers in Dorset, England.
The population of the town is about 13,000 people approximately.
The town previously flourished as a fishing port and a rope making centre and is today a thriving commercial centre with a farmers market which is held every month.
Bridport is also one of the best places to live for retired people in the UK as the town is surrounded by the glorious countryside of West Dorset.
Being in the south west region of England the town experiences a pleasant temperate maritime climate which is neither too hot nor too cold all through the year, except for the occasional and unpredictable rain.
