The churches in this town have gained a lot of popularity because of its extensive use of stained glass that is specially designed. The retail industry has boomed a lot in the previous few decades.

The Brighouse library is home to a large collection of books from all across the world and is considered to be a great knowledge centre. The Smith Art gallery is also an important structure as it holds photos from the Victorian Era and deserves appreciation.
