Burnley is one of the best cities for entertainment. It is a home town for many actors like Julia Haworth, Richard Moore, Alice Barry, Jody Latham, and Paul Abbott. It has good sporting facilities in the town with a modern 24 lane pin bowling center at Finsley Gate and a Multiplex cinema in the town center plays touring comedian & musical acts. There is a contemporary visual art gallery, the Mid-Pennine Gallery for art lovers. The city has two local museums, Weavers Triangle known for its local history and the Queen Street Mill Textile Museum. The town’s major shopping street is St James Street.
Burnley celebrates National Blues festival and the Balloon festival once in a year and it is one of the largest Blues festival celebrated in the country drawing fans from all over Britain. Burnley has a lively nightlife, drawing clubbers from all over the north-west region with major clubs like Lava Ignite, Koko’s and Fusion.
