Towards the east of Staffordshire in England, there is a large town besides the River Trent called as Burton upon Trent or just Burton. This town is called as the capital of British brewing even at an international level.

To the north of Burton lies Stretton, Hartton, Hilton and Rolleston while to the south lies Tamworth. To the east of Burton are Ticknall, Hartshorne, Loughborough and Winshill while to the west of Burton are Rugeley, Rangemore, Abbots Bromley, Hoar Cross and Stafford. As per the estimate done in 2001, the population of Burton was 60,500.

The culture of this town is marked by the Statutes Fair which is observed in October on the first Monday and Tuesday, every year. This fair continues for a couple of days in the Market Place and regions of Lichfield Street, New Street and High Street.
