Buxton lies in close proximity to Greater Manchester and is located in Derbyshire in England.

This spa town as it is known since ages due to a geothermal spring that originates here and rises at a constant temperature.

It has a population of 25,000 people. The town has a mixed economy with revenues derived from limestone quarrying, tourism and the commercialization of the local spring waters which are marketed and sold by the Buxton Mineral Water Company.

The town has a tropical humid climate and an average temperature of about 8 degrees and is described by the locals as a ‘top coat colder’.

The place experiences a pleasant weather with hot and humid summers and warm winters, thus reducing extremities of weather.
