East Carlton Country Park is situated on edge of the beautiful Welland Valley. There are country walks throughout the park, through fine mature woodland and grasslands. One can see a great variety of wild life and habitat throughout the year. The Heritage centre is converted into a coach house and stables and houses a display featuring the history of Corby and development of iron and steel industry in Carlton. Across Carlton there are cultural, tourism and sporting businesses and creative industries which make a very significant contribution to the economic and social regeneration of the region.
