Tourist Guide Chester
Chester is a town in the north west area of England in Cheshire and has a population of around eighty thousand people.
The west of Chester is the Dee Estuary which features marshes and wetland and the north and east of Chester consist of forest and heath land.
The town has a well developed arts and sports sector with a number of theatres, cinemas, football clubs, racecourses, golf clubs and more in the region. Mansun is the popular British pop band from this region.
The popular soap opera Hollyoaks is set here though most of the shooting of the serial takes place in Liverpool. The service industry in Chester is coming up and tourism is flourishing as people come here for shopping and entertainment.
The town experiences a humid and mild climate.
