Christchurch is an administrative division and well established town in Dorset County in South-West England. The town of Bournemouth adjoins Christchurch on the west, while the New Forest is located to the east of Christchurch.

This town is located where the River Avon and the River Stour meet. This place is blessed with a number of natural resources.

The town was densely populated with 44,869 residents in the year 2001. Almost 33.1 % people of the population are senior citizens.

The town is located in the South-West region of England. Hence, similar to other villages and towns in this region, Christchurch also experiences maritime temperate climate.

Due to this climate, the weather in the town remains moist and warm for majority of the year.

The winters are cool but not cold. Similarly, the summers also never reach peak temperatures and remain warm throughout the year.
