The Colchester Castle Museum can take a visitor through 2000 years of some most important events in British history. This museum features lots of hands on displays which show Colchester history from the Stone Age to the Civil War. This museum has even won awards for improvements done to it. The Castle is known as the largest kept ever built by the Normans.
