Tourist Guide Crewe
Crewe is best known as a large railway junction and a former home to a major railway works. In the twentieth century, Crewe attracted further heavy industries with establishment for Midland Rollmakers. This town was also the home of Rolls-Royce motor car production from 1946, until it got sold in 1998 and became a part of BMW. At present, the Pyms Lane factory on the Westside of the town produces Bentley motor cars exclusively.
As per the 2001 census, the urban area had a population of 67,683. This town is connected with Macon in France and Bischofsheim which is near to Mainz in Germany. The climate of Crewe is moderate with no severe weather warnings.
