Tourist Guide Cropston
Cropston is a village situated on the western side of Leicestershire, England surrounded by the Charnwood Forest and also close to the very famous Bradgate Park. The village is very small with many old and historic properties. Cropston Reservoir is the center between Cropston and the Bradgate Park. The other villages located near Cropston include Rothley, Swithland and Newtown Linford. The churches and the village halls both are situated in Thurcaston for the purpose of spreading religious feeling among the residents. Christianity is the common religion followed here because of the origin of people here in the English province and English is the national language. According to the 2001 census the village records to have a population of about 1652. The total area of the village is just near 9 to 10 square kilometers. The village has a temperate climate with rainfalls in most part of the year. The highest ever temperature recorded here is 32 degrees whereas lowest are in negatives.
