The Derby Museum and Art Gallery is housed in a beautiful building which was given to Derby by Michael Thomas Bass. This museum and art gallery has a whole section of displays of the paintings of Joseph Wright of Derby. Some of the displays include natural history, archaeology, military and geology collections. The museum and art gallery also has a range of collection of local regiments and such collection of paintings.
