Hailes Abbey is approximately two miles northeast of Winchcombe in Gloucestershire. This abbey was founded in 1246 and was built in a single campaign. This incredible historic site is in the care of the National trust and English heritage. There are also a Hailes Church outside the Hailes Abbey. This church is older than the abbey which was consecrated in 1175.
