Like its counterparts, Norris Museum does not have much of the space for having displayed more than fraction of items in its collections. That’s why special exhibitions get held every year; that too, thrice for giving the visitors a chance of going through treasures of Norris Museum.
Special displays get held in ‘Museum Art Gallery’. However, when such exhibitions aren’t held, local landscapes and paintings are on display.
Norris Museum also makes way for various events; whenever it can. Special activities get held for children at the time of holidays on the part of school. At times, an archaeologist also gets appointed for having identified things found by you.
Timings
Norris Museum remains open from 1000 to 1700 hrs between Mondays and Fridays. On Saturdays, the timings are 1400 to 1700 hrs. It should be noted that these timings apply only between may and September. During rest of the year, the timings are: 1000-1600 hrs from Mondays to Fridays; and on Saturdays between 1000 and 1300 hrs.
