One of the most Stately homes located near Grange-over-Sands is the Lord and Lady Cavendish’s home the Holker hall and Gardens. The house is a neo-Elizabethan mansion with vast gardens. The contrast in the ruggedness of the house and the country side provide the house a beautiful charm. The house is believed to be built in the beginning of 16th century.
