This is a castle estate of the Igilby family since 1308 and lies 3 miles to the north of Harrogate. The guided tour of the place provides an insight of the historical events of the Ingilby family. It has extensive walled gardens with a huge collection of water Hyacinth. It also has a Regency conservatory and landscapes designed by C. Brown.
