The Ripon Cathedral is a religious site which was built in the year 1547 in an Anglo Saxon Gothic style of architecture. It is the mother church of the district of Ripon and Leeds and has been visited by people since thirteen hundred years. The nave and choir of the church have a number of artistic pieces made of stone and wood. The church has a grand basilica supported by a number of columns and side aisles with windows and arched vaults.
