Tourist Guide Hathersage
Hathersage is a village that lies on the bank of the Derwent River in the Derbyshire Peak District in England.
The village had a long connection with the manufacturing of grindstones and millstones and a needle button and wire drawing industry, which led to a lot of pollution but this has now changed.
There are a lot of activities that a tourist can indulge in while here such as swimming, walking on the moors, rock climbing, hiking or eating and drinking at the several cafes and pubs available.
The total population of the place is around 3,500 people as per the 1991 census.
The county has a temperate climate which is pleasant for most of the year with warm winters and humid summers.
