Tourist Guide Haworth:

Haworth is a village and tourist attraction, located in West Yorkshire County.  It is very famous for its association with the Bronte Sisters.

Haworth city is located in the high Pennine moors, 4.8 kms south west of town Keighley. Haworth city is surrounded by towns like Lumfoot, Oakworth, Cross Roads, Oxenhope and Stanbury.

Haworth village is situated on the eastern slope of the Pennines, which is located near the River Worth. Haworth’s climatic conditions are overall fine throughout the year, but the best time to visit is in the month of August and September.

Haworth is a very small village having a population of 5,000. Haworth village is visited by more than eight million visitors a year. Haworth is considered a place of literary pilgrimage. There are lots of places which can be visited.

Haworth is set in lovely countryside and has an cobbled Main Street with lots of interesting gift shops and tea shops. It has the Bronte Museum, lovely walks, a free treasure hunt and a steam railway. The Keighley Worth Valley Railway runs from Keighley to Oxenhope and stops at Haworth and also other stops where there is a railway museum and the station where the railway children were filmed. Be careful where you park though because there are some evil clampers there. Best stay in the council car parks or there is unrestricted parking not far from the main tourist places.

Did not see enough but wanted to. Orphanage was just closed when we got there after a long drive. Hyde's from Australia.
