Heanor is a city situated in the Amber Valley district of Derbyshire in East Midlands of England. Heanor population was just over 23,000. Heanor is small hill-top southern market in town, with the Penning range of Mountains at its rolling foot-hills. It lies between cities of Derby and Nottingham in England called the East-midlands. Heanor is located at 53° 00’ 53” N 1° 21’ 18” W.
Heanor had been involved in the coal mining industry for generations. It has grown over the years with small communities such as Langley Mill, Mar pool, Codnor, Loscoe and Alder car around the sides of the Heanor Hill. The local newspapers serves the community of Ripley, Heanor, Mari pool, Loscoe, Waingrowse, Alder car, Cross hill and Codnor as the Heanor News. Its area is not limited to towns and villages and it is considered to extend from Whatstandwell.
