The small town of High Cross is located in the suburban region of the state of England. The High Cross town is the most ancient settlement in the entire state of England. The town has its name High Cross after the large numbers of big Christian crosses erected in the city since ancient times. The city is famous for this reason in the entire state of England. Since the medieval period it has been the tradition of this town to erect giant and big crosses in the town. This tradition is still carried out in the city but just the sizes of the crosses are decreasing due to less space. High Cross being a small town geographically is not so large and stretches up to 19 square km in area. Also the population in the town is quite less. As per the latest measured census the population of the town of High Cross was around 3,637. The climate experienced in the city is very stable. The summers here are not so hot but the winters here are extremely cold and snowfall occurs in the winter season.
