The Saint Tolas cross is the most unique cross amongst all the crosses in the state of England. It was erected in the twelfth century and does not have the distinct Celtic ring on it. It is unique from all the crosses because of the artistic carvings done on the cross. It has the carvings of Lord Jesus and the saint Bishop on it. It also bears the carvings of Adam and Eve on it, showing them sitting under a tree.
