Hope Village is itself a tourist attraction in the Hope Valley. One can see the pre- historic tracks and ways in this village. The village was occupied by the Romans in a later period. Hence, the village possesses historic roads that belong to the Roman era. The most important Roman fort was built in Navio, which is situated just a mile away from this village.
The Mam Tor is the 1696 ft high peak in this village. In the pre- historic period, the Tor witnessed the late Bronze Age. Later a hill fort belonging to the early era of Iron Age was built on this Tor.
Research shows that the place was inhabited since 1200 BC. Another tourist attraction in the Hope Valley is the Winnat’s Pass. The road passes through breathtaking views and vertical limestone crags.
Tourist can also visit the Perveril Castle in Hope Valley. It is located on a cliff and looks like it is guarding the village. Shopaholics can indulge in the Hope Valley market .
