The Isle of Wight has thirteen award winning beaches as they are maintained as per the highest standards. These 13 beaches are at Colwell, Cowes, Gurnard, E.Cowes, Ryde, Springvale, Seagrove, St. Helens, Yaverland, Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor and Totland. The beaches are inspected daily for their water quality. Several water sport activities can be undertaken at the beaches including jet skiing, swimming, sailing, kayaking, surfing and angling.
