The Isle of Wight Festival is a popular rock festival which is held each year to cover various musical events and features different genres of music. This festival is attended by millions of people since 2002. The 1st Isle of Wight Festival was held in 1970 near a place called Afton Down in West Wight and was followed by 2 smaller concerts in 1968 and 1969.
