The small market town of Kettering is located in Kettering Borough, Northamptonshire, England. The town of Kettering is situated on the western coast of Ise River which is the tributary of Nene.
Originally, Kettering was named as Cytringan which changed to Keteiringan & Kyteringas and later in the tenth century it was named Kettering. Kettering is well known for its shoe and boot industry as it manufactures some of the best shoes in the world.
