Kimberley Brewery is owned by Greene King. The Brewery has within its boundaries a geological site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), listed under the title of “Kimberley Railway Cutting” which is an important location for Permian Gymnosperm fossils, where we can find the Permian – Carboniferous unconformity.
Kimberley Alpine Ski Resort features the perfect mix of well groomed beginner trials, enjoyable intermediate cruisers and challenging advanced terrains. The resort is full of fun loving activities for the whole family to enjoy. Many cultural activities take place in Kimberley. Moultan Village Festival which takes place for a week leads up to the carnival weekend. The Morris dancers converge on the village to take part in the traditional May Queen procession. One can find a craft market, art exhibitions and stalls in the street. The Riverside Festival is the largest outdoor festival; which attracts 100,000 visitors to Victoria Embankment every year. A series of smaller venues provide children’s entertainment and there are a host of street performers. On the second day of the festival in the evening there is a procession of illuminated boats on the river, followed by breathtaking fireworks.
