The Lancaster Castle is considered as one of the most historically interesting building in Lancashire. This historic building has some extensive group of historic structures which includes the 12th century keeps and 14th century Witches Tower. This is a grade I listed building and the area towards its north section is designated as a Scheduled Ancient monument.
