The cottage museum in Lancaster is a period cottage which was built in 1739. This was set up in a reduced form in 1825. The cottage, at present, is a small furnished museum which reflects the life of an artisan family and these displays are attractive to children. The museum offers an intimate glimpse of early Victorian Life. This museum also faces Lancaster Castle.
