Tourist Guide Leamington Spa
As the name suggest, Leamington Spa is a spa town located in the central part of Warwickshire County, England, UK. The local residents of this town simply call it ‘Leam’. Leamington Spa is the third largest town in the County.
The other two large towns are Rigby and Nuneaton. The town got its name from the River Leam which runs through it. Leamington is situated almost in the centre of England.
Leamington Spa is a high populated area. According to the 2001 census, the population is 45,114 residents. The town is rapidly expanding so it may grow to many times this number in the future.
The river Leam splits the town into two parts, the south and the north. The town experiences maritime temperate climate with moist and warm air masses. Summers are warm and the winters are mild.
