Firle Place is considered as the home place of the Gage family that was established about 500 years back. It is located at the foot of the Sussex Downs and was built of Caen stone and artistic sculptures. Tourists visit this place for seeing the paintings and even for buying them if there is an exhibition. The house contains a splendid and excellent collection of old master paintings, English and European furniture and an admirable collection of beautiful porcelain and pots.
