Liverpool has one of the most common traveler services outside London. The Wirral Line links the city with Ellesmere Port, West Kirby, Chester and New Brighton, while the Northern Line connects Liverpool with Kirby, Ormskirk, Hunts Cross and Southport. The local trains serve the city at four major stations, which are the Lime Street, James Street, Liverpool Central and Moorfields.
