Tate Liverpool
The Tate Liverpool is an art gallery and museum situated in Liverpool. This museum was an initiative of the Merseyside Development Corporation created for displaying work from the Tate Collections. These include the national collection of the British art from the year 1500 to till date and some of the international modern art too. The gallery opened in 1988 and housed in a converted warehouse within the Albert Dock on the waterfront in Liverpool.
