Liversedge is a true example of people from all faces of life coming together and forming a different settlement. Each village that Liversedge comprises of is worthwhile and notable. Liversedge has a story that during the battle of Waterloo, a church was built by the soldiers and that church helped them to win the battle. The church is still present here and is a must watch for everyone. A few decades back, there used to be a museum named Spenborough museum which held all the age-old traditions and beliefs of the Spen people.
But now this museum is replaced by a hotel named Healds Hall and is filled with luxurious amenities for the guests of this town. The Aquila Rigg is a house on the well known Aquila Way and is a fine place to visit. There is a lot of scope for sportspersons interested in cricket and football as Liversedge has many playgrounds as well as many leagues that support cricket as well as football.
