The London Millennium Bridge is a steel suspension bridge constructed for pedestrians to cross the River Thames in London, England. Situated between Blackfriars Railway Bridge and Southwark Bridge, the bridge is owned by the Bridge House Estates, a charitable trust. The construction of this bridge began in 1998 and opened in 2000. The length of the bridge is 370 meters with width of 4 meters. This bridge is popularly featured in the ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ Film version. The bridge is also featured in one of the episodes of ‘Ugly Betty’ television series and at the beginning of the first episode of ‘Ashes to Ashes’.
