The National Army Museum is the central museum of the British Army in London, England. Situated in Chelsea district of central London, the museum is also a non-departmental public body. Established in 1960 with its variety of collections, the museum building was established in 1971. This museum relates to the overall British Army history and about their commonwealth forces, the British imperial, colonial and even the British Indian Army history from 1066 till date.
At first, the museum was housed in the Royal Military Academy old riding school in Sandhurst. The present building, in London was designed by William Holford & Partners in brutalist style.
