The Victoria & Albert Museum is in South Kensington, London. This museum is known as the largest museum of decorative design and arts in the world, and houses a permanent collection of more than 4.5 million objects.
The museum is named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, it was founded in 1852, and it is home to 145 galleries. The collection includes 5,000 years of art, right from ancient times to the present day artwork. The holdings of ceramics, costumes, glass, silver, textiles, furniture, ironwork, medieval objects and drawings are among some largest and most comprehensive in the world.
