St. James's Park is a 23 hectare park situated in Westminster in central part of London. This is the oldest of the Royal Parks of London. The park is named after a leper hospital that is dedicated to St. James the Less. Places of interest here are the Buckingham Palace, the Mall, St. James Palace and the Birdcage Walk. There are also lakes here, with two islands, Duck Island and the West Island.
