London has been the capital of politics for long centuries, from the times of the Tower of London when the enemies of Henry the VIII were inprisoned in its chambers and beheaded.
It is possible to visit the Tower of London and see its hidden secrets even if its quite expesive. A long walk down the river is Westminster, the locus of british moder power. If you book in advance you'll be able to see a session of the British debate and admire the English banter.
But politcs in London is also in the streets so go visit the varius bookshops and organization headquarters. The anarchist bookshop, often giving out books for free, is in Whitechapel while the socialist bookshop is right behind King's Cross.
Don't forget, of course, to go at 10 Downing Street: it's British Prime Minister's House! Probably you could not see anything but going there is a must while visiting London!
