If you want to buy luxurious and lavish items, then Harrods department store is the right place. This exclusive shopping center is located on the Brompton Road in London.

The store is spread across a huge area of 4.5 acres. This area makes Harrods the world's largest shopping store. More than 330 stores feature in this shopping centre.

With so many shops and outlets, this place is shoppers delight. The department store was opened in the year 1834. At that time, Harrods was a grocery shop. Later in 1880s, the small store got converted into affluent market, where the numbers of rich customers were higher.

The shops at Harrods include the world famous Food Hall and Christmas department. Shoppers can get a variety of things here like beauty products, handbags, accessories, toys, sports and leisure accessories and gifts.

They can shop for a wide clothing range for women, men and children. One can get hundreds of ideas for home décor while strolling though various levels of Harrods.
