Notting Hill
Notting Hill is a beautiful area situated to the west of London and is close to the Kensington Gardens. This is a cosmopolitan district which is also known popularly for its annual Notting Hill Carnival and also for the setting of the 1999 film “Notting Hill”, starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. It is home to the Portobello Road Market and known for its attractive terraces of large Victorian townhouses and some high end shops and restaurants. Some of the worth visiting places of interest are Ladbroke Grove, Notting Hill Gate, Portobello Road, Westbourne Grove and North Kensington.
