The DJ108 course is designed for people with little or no experience of mixing. Taking place on one evening a week for six weeks, the sessions are mostly practical hands-on mixing and also include instructions on how to record a mix CD to help you get work. Particular attention is given to those critical elements that make the difference between just mixing and being a great DJ.
Course contentYou will practice on the industry-standard Technics SL1200, learn about different mixing techniques, get essential technical knowledge and troubleshooting tips, and experience a few of the things you can use to spice up a DJ-act including samples, CD mixing and using laptops on stage.
