Tourist Guide Loughborough
Loughborough is a town, placed in the Charnwood municipality, of Leicestershire County.
The town is ranked as the second largest settlement, as its population is 57,600. It has the famous university -Loughborough University.
In 1841, Thomas Cook organized there former package tour, Loughborough was the destination. The world’s biggest foundry is found in this town.
The town has a large shopping area, it is all pedestrianised, and the area is named as Market Street and Market Place. Every week three markets are held in the town; the markets on Thursday and Saturday are big in size and are conducted outdoors.
A monthly market for the farmer’s is held as well as there is a flea market held every Friday.
