The city of Manchester is served by two chief railway stations: Victoria, located in the north, and Piccadilly, in the south. Both of the stations are connected to other cities of UK but a majority of trains serve the Piccadilly station.
Other stations of the city centre include Manchester Oxford Road, Deansgate, and Salford Central, but these are mostly served by local services that pass through Manchester and Rochdale or Wigan and Bolton.
