Market Harborough is a market town. It is situated in Leicestershire. The population of the town is 20,785.
It is the secretarial head office of Harborough District Council. It is included in the rural area of south Leicestershire, closer to the Northamptonshire border.
This town has the shortest street of Europe, which is named Little Street. On the western side of the town towards Foxton, named HM Prison Gartree, it’s a wonderful site.
It currently serves as a prison for only those prisoners who are on a life sentence.
