In Staffordshire in England, there is a market town called Newcastle under Lyme. It is the main town in the Borough of Newcastle under Lyme and local people refer to it as just “castle.” It is at a distance of 3 Kms from Stoke on Trent, 6 Kms from Hanley and 27 Kms from the county town of Stafford.
