The Quayside Sunday Market operates every Sunday from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm and is easily reachable via the Quaylink transport system from the center of the city. There are shops selling jewelry, local crafts, artwork, food, toys, clothes, plants and more. There are several historic buildings including the Guildhall, the Black Gate, the Town Wall, Baltic and Millennium Bridge, St. Nicholas Cathedral and Bessie Surtees House within a short walking distance from the market.
